Gurp City

It's like Vegas fool. San Francisco and the Bay Area rappers, producers and DJs all get together for one good cause, to get drunk as fuck and make good music. Big Shawn of Bored Stiff loves the grimey underground sounds of the twelve track. He put this together to recreate the feel of the days of just recording and having fun with friends! Obviously produced entirely by Big Shawn features include Bored Stiff, L’Roneous, Z-MAN, FDOG, Tabb Doe, Curt Sak, Agentstriknine, and Blkbastard. An album that could only come out of San Francisco. The Bored Stiff legacy continues.

B-POS – Pos Tapes the Album

Tuesday, July 3rd, 2012

The rellies B-POS just released their new album, The Pos Tapes. This project contains songs from the Pos Tapes Trilogy, a series of albums each with one producer (Vol.1: Big Shawn, Vol. II: Tahaj the First, Volume Three: ghostNOTES) that have been released over the past year or so. I got the albums as they were released but recently went back to them after enjoying their song with White Mic on his Fighting Off Success album. Anyway its a dope album for the heads to enjoy. As for the Gurp City connection Z-MAN is on a couple tracks on this and this joint fom Vol.2. TRUNK DRANK put it down on Vol.1.

Get it here as well as the whole trilogy:
