Two days of gurped out meyhem in Asheville, NC. We really live this shit.
The rellies B-POS just released their new album, The Pos Tapes. This project contains songs from the Pos Tapes Trilogy, a series of albums each with one producer (Vol.1: Big Shawn, Vol. II: Tahaj the First, Volume Three: ghostNOTES) that have been released over the past year or so. I got the albums as they were released but recently went back to them after enjoying their song with White Mic on his Fighting Off Success album. Anyway its a dope album for the heads to enjoy. As for the Gurp City connection Z-MAN is on a couple tracks on this and this joint fom Vol.2. TRUNK DRANK put it down on Vol.1.
Get it here as well as the whole trilogy:

From the group:
“Our songs are not untainted by the music industry, but in fact tainted to the point of rebelling completely against it. This album simply speaks from our hearts, and is an option for another path. A path towards unity and the power of people combined. A message of anti consumerism within a progressive culture that so often contradicts its self. For us, it is a step in the direction of breaking the chains that seem to keep new rap predictably similar. In my opinion this album brings the art of passion back to the music, with no regard for trying to be anything other than ourselves. It is socially aware, soulfully dirty, and variates musically between a number of world influences. Its the punk rock, of dirty hip hop. Free the Radio!”
Time for a pop and shot.
