Trip out to the newest jam from Grand Killa Con. “Drug Rug” is the latest leak from Gurp City’s lurked-out duo consisting of rapper Luke Sick & producer Brycon. Accompanied by a severely messed-up animated video courtesy of Bosko Jackson, this latest gully nugget is sure to make you break out the bean bags and opium pipes. Expect Grand Killa Con to drop their new album, La Barranca, first quarter 2015 on Megakut Records. Still on gurp.
Z-MAN is back with his new album, The Opening Act, produced entirely by Elon. The last time these two teamed up was for the now classic ANTI NERD album back in 2003. The Opening Act is the classic tale of an indie rap artist trying to become the headliner and money maker in this music game. The album features Luke Sick, Lady Fingaz, The Gingerbread Man, Johanna Phraze, Dj Quest, Trunk Drank, Hopie, Opio and Pep Love.

Coming to all digital outlets next month.
Still On GURP.
Megakut Records is back with their latest tape release. This time DANKSLOB (Luke Sick & G-Pek) drop an e.p. on one side along with J-Eazy & Brycon’s Damaged Goods e.p. on the flip. Two dope projects on one tape, it’s a no brainer. J-Eazy dropping gurp poetics over Brycon bangers might have you fuckin’ off your rent and christmas money at BevMo and that’s ok. They got deals. Couple that with Luke Sick kicking real life rime science backed by G-Pek’s criminally underrated production and you might wonder where your tape went until you see your moms leaving the weed spot. It be like that sometimes.
And buy some tapes yo:
QM of Rec League and up and coming gurpo LightBulb dropped the video for their single “I’m Feelin Good” recently as well as a dope remix for the track by Brycon. Fuck with it.
Psychedelic country rap maestro Philo’s new single “I Don’t Love Em” gets the wavy remix treatment from Brycon. Philo and Brycon first collaborated more than 10 years ago and bring it full circle on this newest slump from the Gurp City / Gurp City South massive. Check for Philo’s upcoming album “A Monster It Remains” coming soon.
Still on GURP.
The newest release from Brycon; “The Adventures Of Whoopin Crane”, like Eddie Harris’ “Theme In Search Of A Movie” or J-Zone’s “To Kill A Hooker”, is a soundtrack without the traditional visual accompaniment.
In this particular case, the composer’s imaginary world is a purely fictional Nintendo game about an ass-kicking bird in a dimension ruled by the Ol’ Dirty Bastard (Rest in Peace).
This project is not endorsed by The Wu-Tang Clan but is offered by the artist free in tribute to one of the greatest cultural influences of our time, the incomparable Russell Jones known to the world as Ol’ Dirty Bastard.
To enhance the experience the sound palate for this project is 90% 8 bit samples of original Nintendo Entertainment Center games.
We hope you enjoy it.

Part 2 coming soon…
Grand Killa Con is back, simply because they never left. This one finds Luke Sick rhyming over Grand Puba’s Big Kids Don’t Play instrumental from the classic album Reel to Reel. Brycon and Luke Sick have a new album on the way entitled La Barranca but are keeping it gully with a series of leak tracks while the album marinates.
Download the single free here: https://grandkillacon.bandcamp.com/track/big-kids-dont-play-2015
Our dominant pimpin’ ass rellie Kirby Dominant just released his latest mixtape/album Taco Meat Music: The Art Of Being Masculine. He got Z-MAN aka Z-MAINEY aka Z-Dazzle to hop on a track and spit that real shit. Kirb has the whole project on his soundcloud for free download so go get that!
Happy Halloween from all of us at Gurp City. Beware of the cavity creeps and bump this classic Gingerbread Man album.
The Gurp don’t stop and Yole Boys don’t quit. Fatees just dropped off a crazy remix for Grand Killa Con’s buzzing single “Born 2 Gain” complete with a video by the Curator.
Rocktober continues… Bay Area bitch.
