It's like Vegas fool. San Francisco and the Bay Area rappers, producers and DJs all get together for one good cause, to get drunk as fuck and make good music. Gurp City consists of hip hop pioneers such as DJ Quest and DJ Eddie Def to underground legends like Bored Stiff and Sacred Hoop to freestyle champions TopR and Conceit...pretty much every alcoholic rapper in the Bay Area of California. The Gurp Fam keeps growing and innovating rap music with artists like Trunk Drank, Z-Man, Fist Fam, Grand Invincible, Fay Dog, G-Pek, Eddie K, DJ Marz, Bullet Proof Space Travelers, Bullet Proof Scratch Hampsters, DJ Cue, Brandon B, Luke Sick, Iron Fist, Thuggy Fresh, 6 Feet Deep, DJ Mathew Africa, 4oneFunk, DJ Teeko, DJ Max Kane, DJ Mista-B, DJ B. This weekend is gonna suck for the gurper’s liver. We’re getting started a day early on Thursday and rolling all the way til the Sunday morning “I wish I was dead,” phone call from Conceit. So lets get it started on the right foot. Don’t take any chances today, lets eat a healthy lunch and get it crackin with the new hardly Celebrities mixtape cut.

Then tonight we head out to the Element Lounge to make some noise for Conceit and Philo in the beat battle.

At some point I’m sure Fatees and I are gonna find some time to eat some pupusas at El Zocalo.

Saturday you’re gonna have to re-up on whatever vices you need to get through it because Big Max’s band Ovipositor is throwing down out in Chinatown and we riding till the wheels fall off.

And if we’re still alive on Sunday we gonna have to hit up La Palma’s legendary glass case of chicharrones for some tacos de canasta (below) and a big bag of bunuelos to take away the pain.

    Yo Dan, El Zocalo is the primo spot for papusas and pastelitos, but stay away from the seafood. Ive never been to la panchitas but we can do the pepsi challenge anytime you want. heit me up before you go to band practice out here one weekend and ill take you to la Palma for some canasta we gotta hit it early since it closes at 6pm.

    everybody was flashing on each other, Conceit got knocked in the first round but his beat was the grimiest… but that’s all hearsay, I wasn’t there. That Hardly Celebs joint is suuuuuuuuuuuuuppppppper dope!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
