It was obscure nineties instrumentals quick mixed (not as fast as human four-track but fuckin clickin, naw mean?!?) by 2 Fresh and Quest on one turn burning shit down. Felt like ’95, especially when 2 Fresh pulled out the Whooliganz (early Alchemist track I think?!?!) and mixed it with Moe Dee’s Rise and Shine (which sounds dead on Coolin’ in Cali by 7A3, same loop and all that), of course I got schooled, ’cause I didn’t know about the Moe Dee track and was hollerin’ out Coolin’ In Cali till I looked at the label. It’s good when the masters come to teach… I want that mp3!!!
