The newest release from Brycon; “The Adventures Of Whoopin Crane”, like Eddie Harris’ “Theme In Search Of A Movie” or J-Zone’s “To Kill A Hooker”, is a soundtrack without the traditional visual accompaniment.
In this particular case, the composer’s imaginary world is a purely fictional Nintendo game about an ass-kicking bird in a dimension ruled by the Ol’ Dirty Bastard (Rest in Peace).
This project is not endorsed by The Wu-Tang Clan but is offered by the artist free in tribute to one of the greatest cultural influences of our time, the incomparable Russell Jones known to the world as Ol’ Dirty Bastard.
To enhance the experience the sound palate for this project is 90% 8 bit samples of original Nintendo Entertainment Center games.
We hope you enjoy it.
