The Oakland Faders got together in 1994 and has since gone on to win numerous competitions and awards including Scion Free Up Your Mix, URB magazine’s mixtape competition, a Mixwell competition, toured internationally, and have shared a bill with everyone from M.F Doom to Maseo to Melvin Sparks to Madlib to Mixmaster Mike to Marvin Holmes.
